Sole Society February Style Post

We’re very excited for a couple of reasons about February on Sole Society. One being that the shoes are getting brighter and funner the closer we get to Spring! The other one being that if you’ve never tried Sole Society before this is your chance to do it, and get $15 off your first order. That put your first shoes at $35! Sign up at Sole Society and see what your Style is and use the promo code “LOVE15

We had two picks in February. One was the Dana in the turquoise! She’s a beautiful light weight, bright shoe that will give a pop to any outfit. The wedge makes for a very comfortable shoe, and definitely adds a few inches to your Spring and Summer wardrobe!

The next shoe we fell for was the Simone in the Taupe. It really is a great neutral shoe to wear with so much! We paired it up with a Sexy Navy Moto jacket, and green lace dress from Georgie.

Madison Elizabeth Giveaway and Feature

We always love sharing fashionable  finds with our readers, and having contests and giveaways. But we especially love it when we’re able to showcase something that is not only trendy, fun, and fab but easy on the pocketbook too. Those are some of the things we love Madison Elizabeth clutches!

We had a chance to interview Madison, the designer and creator at Madison Elizabeth clutches and we think the future is bright for this young designer and we thank her for sending us this clutch [that has gotten us more compliments than we can count]. Next on our list? A chevron striped clutch dipped in orange [or pink] oh we can’t choose just one or two! But we do love the chevron stripe!

Check out our fun photos featuring Madison Elizabeth and enter for your chance to win a custom created clutch. You can also follow her on Facebook and Instagram at: madisonelizabethco

By the way if you’re wondering these clutches are only $34! And this month you can get 10% off by entering “modebayarea” at checkout. Enter at the bottom of this post to win your own Madison Elizabeth clutch.

MODE: What was inspiration behind Madison Elizabeth?
ME: I started seeing this style of clutch in Vogue issues as well as on some of my favorite blogs. Being a DIY-er and a college student on a slim budget, I set out to make my own. Adding the lining was a must! When you open up your clutch or pouch you want it to make you happy, which is just what my signature black and white lining does. I am constantly being inspired by pictures of places I wish to travel, others personal style, and my favorite designers!

MODE: What is your favorite piece from your line?
ME: Whenever I make a new color combo it becomes my instant fave! I immediately think of how to style the clutch and how I can fit it into my wardrobe! Right now I am loving the navy/white chevron striped ‘dipped’ in navy clutch.

MODE: Who is the MT client?
ME: The Madison Elizabeth client is someone who loves color and is not afraid to take a risk.

MODE: Tell us about yourself?
ME: I am a 19 year-old college student in Oregon. I am studying Fashion Merchandising and Business Marketing. Fashion is my true passion! I love wearing classic and trendy pieces together. My friends and family are very important to me, and are my biggest support system!

MODE: Where can Madison Elizabeth be found?
ME: Madison Elizabeth clutches can be found on my etsy site. (etsy.com/shop/madisonelizabethco ) I would love to have them sold in some boutiques soon!

MODE: What is your favorite quote?
ME: “Fashion is the armor to survive the reality of everyday life.” – Bill Cunningham

MODE: How do you recommend fans wear it?
ME: I think Madison Elizabeth clutches are really easy to style. They are a great way to add a cool but chic touch to an outfit. I love layering gingham button-ups with a leather or utilitarian jacket so a Madison Elizabeth clutch is a great way to make a statement without overpowering an outfit. The clutches are also a great piece that transfers easily from day to night!
