Alberto Fermani USA Contest
The Alberto Fermani story began fifty years ago when Alberto first followed his passion for design to the hills above Italy’s Adriatic coast, where he learned the art of Italian shoemaking. His deep passion for impeccable craftsmanship and his conviction that luxury begins and ends with quality guided him then and still guide the brand today. The tradition and innovation continues in the very workshop that Alberto founded.
The Alberto Fermani brand is distinguished by confident, sophisticated style at home in the world’s most fashionable cities. And while their shoes and boots are known for their amazing comfort, they are also appreciated for their clean lines, expert detailing, and quintessential, yet refined sexiness.
We had the opportunity to ask the people behind this luxury br [...] Continue reading →
Brandy Melville USA
I remember the first time I walked into a Brandy Melville store in Santa Monica–mostly because I was pretty close to freaking out. It was almost sensory overload because every single thing I looked at I wanted. Lust at fist sight is what I like to call it. A huge selection of the most creative Logo shirts, beautiful and edgy over sized pieces was all within a few inches of my hands. It was high fashion combined with California comfort at the most affordable price points! What wasn’t there to love?
Brandy Melville was started over thirty years ago by Silvio Marsan in Rome, Italy and has grown to over 50 stores in Europe, including stores in Milan, London, and Florence. Using state of the art textile and high quality fabrics, Brandy brings stylish, comfortable, and affordable cl [...] Continue reading →
O Clock on the dot.
I’m a big fan of a man wearing a watch. Not only does it say this guy has places to go, but it’s basically one of the few accessory options a dude has got. So why not have fun with time?
I just ran into a line of watches I adore, O Clock, they’re made in Italy and super unique in their look and versatility. These watches aren’t for the guy who wants to know exactly how many feet he’s above sea level, since the plastic O Clock face is all of two glow in the dark hands and one logo at 6 o’clock. I found the style reminiscent of the ever so modern Movado brand, but without the price or pretension.
The wristband is very sporty, made out of hypoallergenic silicon, as opposed to the leather, ostrich or alligator you’ll find in a Movado line. Not a band thing, just means you can def [...] Continue reading →
From the Heart of Italy
I’ve been following Salar handbags since I ran into the line about 6 months on Facebook. I recently checked out their Spring/Summer collection and loved a lot of the pieces. My favorite pieces are the MOD.MINI and the MOD.HANNA. I wish they were sold here in the US because I want them! Especially the MOD. MINI. It’s like the perfect little purse, and I’ve never been one to like little purses. It screams photo shoot or editorial spread. I’m pretty much known for buying huge, oversized purses. But this one stood out to me over even the big ones in the collection.
This beautiful collection was recently mentioned in Italian Vogue for “Choice of the Best Projects!” Take a look and let me know what you think about this beautiful Italian line.

Azadeh Couture – Benefit Fashion Show
Recently Bay Area Fashionistas and friends were given the privilege of attending an exclusive Azadeh Couture fashion show — benefiting the Girls town of Italy. 500 onlookers watched with baited breath as Current, Fall, Holiday, Spring and Cruise Collection pieces made their way down the runway. In all, 65 pieces were showcased on the beautiful girls of the runway; included in their ranks — Gretchen Rossi of OC Housewives fame. All in all it was an incredible event, for an incredible cause — showcasing some truly incredible fashion.

Superga: The Converse of Italy
They are called the “People’s Shoes of Italy.” I like to call them the “Converse of Italy,” and the soon to be “People’s Shoes of America.” A brand born in 1911 in Torino, Italy, Superga has been the leading producer of casual footwear for men, women, and children. This attractive, high-quality footwear, comes in your choice of canvas, linen, or leather, with the vulcanized rubber soles Superga is known for.
I had always been a Converse fan, owning several pairs of Chucks in high-tops and low-tops in every color they came in. Over the years however, I have gotten more and more disappointed in the brand. In order to expand their market and attract more customers, Converse has created shoes in every color, print, pattern, material, an [...] Continue reading →
