Street Style: Annie in Red

I’m back! Did you miss me? School was terribly hectic and as a result, I took a little winter hibernation–but Street Style is back in full force. Let’s meet Annie. Today was a chilly day and Annie’s beautiful red blouse truly stood out in a sea of the usual dark colors–grey, black, and the somewhat adventurous occasional khaki. The fit of Annie’s blouse is so beautiful–delicate in its  draping, allowing the color to do all the talking. If you take a closer look at  her blouse, it’s got this unique texture. The details get better–her cardigan has ruffles that you wouldn’t see at first inspection, and the same can be said for the accents on her boots. “I ended up being…where I am, not in spite of who I am, but because of who I am.” Greg Siebel, model, actor, and shop manager at LA Ink’s High Voltage tattoo shop, has been a part of the industry for 15 years. I first saw Greg on the cover of the Tilly’s catalog last year, and never forgot the ad. He is one of few models that has ever stood out to me. During a trip to L.A., I met up with Greg at the High Voltage shop to interview him about his modeling and acting career, as well as his part on TLC’s hit show, LA Ink. ‘Project Runway’s’ Tim Gunn – Kate Spade Appearance

Being such a big fan of Project Runway, I was excited and honored to interview none other than Tim Gunn, Co-Host and Mentor of Project Runway and Liz Claiborne Chief Creative Officer. This past weekend, I had the privilege of meeting Mr. Gunn, and discussing the Project Runway finale, as well as the Kate Spade 2010 Spring Collection. In meeting with him, I discovered that he is even more warm and friendly in real life than he is on television, making him an absolute pleasure to interview.
