    Would you be interested in covering Sierra Repertory Theatre? We get a lot of patrons from the bay area making weekend or day trips to the area and then spendinging their evening at a show.

    Just an hour away from Yosemite and located on Highway 108 (which leads to the Sonora Pass), Sierra Repertory Theatre offers vacationers an enjoyable addition to their outdoor and resort trips. We’re close to many of the big ski resorts of the foothills during the winter, and right next door to all the mountain hot spots during the summer. Sierra Rep offers nine shows this year and is currently in the middle of its second show, Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash. Future shows include The 39 Steps, Carousel, There Goes the Bride, I Love a Piano, Tim Stands Still, Cinderella, and Every Christmas Story Ever Told and Then Some. Ticket prices range from $20-32.

    SRT has two theaters. Shows at the East Sonora Theatre offer wine and other beverages and snacks for sale before the show. We also offer Friday night Wine Downs at the East Sonora Theatre. Each night features unique wines from local wineries. The Fallon House Theatre is located at historic Columbia State Park, a wonderful vacation destination for families right in the heart of gold country. The entry to Fallon House includes a Western themed ice cream parlor, offering delicious and refreshing ice cream before shows and during intermissions.

    Hi!

    Splendid and Crafting Community are celebrating Splendid’s first Bay area store opening in The Village at Corte Madera. Specifically tailored for Splendid and created by Los Angeles based artist Karen Kimmel and Kid Concierge, Crafting Community events feature fun, interactive workshops focused on reusing and repurposing natural materials. Workshop attendees will create original art and unique accessories, enjoy tasty treats, and depart with all sorts of very cool goodies.

    The event is open to the public and will be held on Saturday, September 8th from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at The Village. Crafting Community has been featured in The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Travel + Leisure and People.com, to name a few. We would love for you to spread the word to your readers and invite them to this fantastic event!
