Inn at Playa del Rey

A little while ago we had an opportunity to visit some great travel spots in order to share them with our readers. Our first review is the “Inn at Playa del Rey.”

We headed through multiple travel spots in the Los Angeles area and this was one of the few that didn’t feel like we were in the middle of Los Angeles. The B&B is close to the ocean with great relaxing dining and shopping spots. At the same time, it is only a few minutes from all the places you would want to visit while you’re in the LA area.

The Inn is a 21 bedrooom Los Angeles Bed and Breakfast overlooking a 250 acre bird sanctuary. Set in a fabulous location, it is within walking distance to the beach. The  inside of the Inn has a great common area and breakfast nook that looks like it’s out of a Hallmark movie. To be honest, much of the Inn looks like it’s from the inside of a Hallmark movie. The rooms are serene, beautifully decorated, and SO peaceful.  It was not at all what we were expecting when we knew we were visiting a Los Angeles B&B.

The other thing is that this was one of the most affordable locations we found in our search. The prices are easy on the pocket book, and we’ve noticed that they offer great rates to their Facebook fans and those on the email list!

Who do we recommend this B&B for? Everyone! It’s the ideal location for those wanting to rest, relax, and escape from the hectic lives that most of us live these days. It can be a great visit for the couple wanting to get away for the weekend, or for someone looking to take the kids away to a beach trip, and visit the LA area. Put the kids down for a nap in the soft large beds, and sit in the serene balcony to enjoy a cup of tea or a glass of wine. There are always snacks in the kitchen and dining room for you to enjoy.
