Is it be possible to put together a quality, designer inspired look for a fraction of the cost? Most people can all put together something that started off on the lower priced end of things, so that’s nothing special. But I love finding designer, quality items that showcase the season’s hottest trends at a mind blowing discounted rate. (I found a friends $1600 wedding dress for $90–what can I say? It’s a gift.)

But I always hear people say that they can’t find anything at Nordstrom Rack, Neiman’s Last Call, or on any sale rack! I on the other hand have a built in censor for a good deal. So I decided to see what I can do with one hour and $50.

I decided to tackle the season’s hottest color-coral. And as much as they say the flared jeans are back–they’re not for me (that needs a whole new post by it’s self), so I went with a pair of amazing skinny jeans!

I’ve put together the original look on net-a-porter.com and my version of it. Even though it’s not the EXACT same thing, I think it’s pretty good if I do say so myself. What do you think?

On the 12th day of Christmas

We’re going to be counting down the 12 days of Christmas with you over the next, well 12 day!!! For the 12th day of Christmas my choice is iTunes, and their special .69 Holiday Songs! I love the idea that for under $1 you can make someones day and spread some Holiday cheer. With choices ranging from Dean Martin to The Chipmunks there is something here for everyone! Although there are 15 choices (a few more than 12) I couldn’t help but love this!

So pick one person in your life right now, who can use a little Holiday cheer and gift them a song for under a $1! It’s the perfect “green” gift, and make sure you add your own personal note. They’ll be sure to think of you every time the song plays, and who knows maybe they’ll spread some cheer to someone else who needs it!
