American Idol started up again this week, and while I didn’t tune in to catch the inevitable blooper reel of audition mishaps, I do plan to check in from time to time to see what the fabulous Ms. Jennifer Lopez is wearing while judging the hopeful contestants. And she gave me a preview of good things to come while in Pasedena filming last month by stepping out in her updated take on 60′s mod.
While her over sized sunglasses, wide leg trousers and mustard jacket provided a retro component, she brought the look up to date with a gold and black platform heel and an animal print clutch containing colors that tied the whole look together. Simply chic.
Sure J Lo’s look costs $3000+ dollars, leading me to believe she isn’t still just “Jenny From The Block”, but you can get a killer look alike outfit for under $300. In my book that makes you the American Idol. So please stop singing in the shower.
