As most of our regular readers know we are big fans of encouraging creativity in kids at MODE Mom’s. I’ve personally been making drastic changes with the toys we have at home and what we’re exposing the kids to. We’re buying a lot “hand-made”, no-batteries, creative toys and we’ve seen such a change with our kids. They are learning to use their imagination, share through role playing, and create new ways to play with existing toys.
We’ve ditched the remote control toys for puppets, blocks, books, wooden toys, & hand made treasures! We ran across Pinuki Baby and loved all they had to offer for new little babies and older kids. Toys to get their minds going, last a life time, and bring them closer to their playmates!

My youngest child stayed true to the set and used the barn and played for a longtime with the little puppets that he’s in love with. They totally integrated the new toys into their existing toys and created a story as they went along.
I watched them take turns with the puppets, act out characters, and take them for rides on their planes, and trains! I really couldn’t have asked for more from a toy!
