The newest product from Kate Somerville could not have come at a better time! I don’t know if it was all the stress or the weather change but my usually acne free face decided to host some rather oddly placed marks on my face. I had gone to the drug store and spent about $30 dollars and a random selection of “sure to stop your sudden breakout” solution but wasn’t having much luck.

I have loved most Kate Somerville products I’ve used so I opened up this box with high hopes and I’m glad to say I wasn’t disappointed! This product is priced at $28 and comes with 2 easy to use sides. The clear side is for day time use and goes on SUPER light and can be layered under makeup. The other side is a “mask” that you use at night. Just dab on and go to sleep. Besides treating the acne the product helped me not pick at my face since there was a “cover” on it. The day formula is light, quick-absorbing, and invisible under makeup. Both help to balance sebum and prevent excess oil production without over-drying.

I also loved that is was so easy to toss into your purse and carry around. I found myself touching up through out the day since I could carry the wand around easily and for under $30 it’s a great purchase that will be around for a long time. Needless to say my “pimples were punished” and I was beyond satisfied!
