SJMADE with SJEATS at San Pedro Square Market

I don’t know about you, but when something new and exciting arrives in San Jose I can’t help but get a little pumped.

I attended the sign lightning last Friday night for the new to downtown San Jose, San Pedro Square Market. It’s a huge location filled with nooks and cranies ranging from 1,000 sq ft to a day-use table, all designed for locals to sell their goods in. Currently the bar is open and a few other eateries and merchants.

But before the grand opening in October, SJ Made, SJ Eats, and TheUsuals SanJose have decided to host an event this weekend at the Market while there are still plenty of vacancies. What better way to utilize this space than with pop-up shops and food trucks?

It’s going to be major!

San Jose Made (SJMADE) is a vendor fair where local San Jose makers, labels, brands, and artists showcase and sell current projects and goods. For the Fall 2011 installation of SJMADE, we will be at San Pedro Market Square in Downtown San Jose. For two days, September 17 and 18, our SJMADE vendors will be showcasing goods alongside various San Pedro Square Market merchants.

SJEATS (Moveable Feast) will be there serving lunch (11:00a-3:00p) with their arsenal of delicious gourmet food trucks.

Along with many other local vendors, my favorite store The Usuals will be at the event selling a lot of their hot ticket items from the shop and fashionable items from Bay Area designers and jewelery makers. The SJ Eats trucks will be parked outside of San Pedro Square Market, and the live music will take place at the stage in the outdoor courtyard of the Market.
