MAC Cosmetics does minerals again and this I think it’s better than ever! I had the chance to try out a couple of skin finishes, blushes and shadows.
-Mineralize Skin Finish-
Semi Precious Pearl/Semi Precious Crystal Pink
I personally really liked these finishes because I like a dewy glowing finish. I also loved using these as a highlighter, and for the corner of my eyes. I wouldn’t recommend them for anyone that has deep wrinkles as the glimmer will sit in them or for anyone that likes a matte finish on their skin. I also like that you can use the center park that’s darker to define.
Mineralize Blush
-Feeling Flush/Warmth of Coral-
This is my FAVORITE part of this collection. By far one of the best blushes that I have used! Highly pigmented, but goes on super smooth and has a clean finish. You can use a feathered brush on the apple of her cheeks, and layer it to couture and on your cheek bone. I am completely in love with the Coral color. It has the perfect peach undertones this color has. The Feeling Flush is also such a beautiful pink. I like that depending on the layering you can wear it on lighter ivory tones, and darker skin colors as well. I am a big fan of the blushes from this collection and I think you will be too!
Eye Shadows
-Jade’s Fortune/Rare Find-
These colors were lighter when applied than the color that you see in the pot, so I would recommend testing it out at the store. Both these colors were beautiful but they do have shimmer. And if you do like shine on your eyes than this is for you! If you’re like me and prefer a matte, neutral color then the mineralized shadows aren’t for you. I also had a hard time applying them because the colors changes with each application. Out of all the items I tried this was my least favorite.

All in all I’m pretty impressed with this collection. Again I love that the skin finish has so many uses, and I can’t say enough about the blushes! I love that a brand known for it’s colors and creativity has come out with this amazing natural mineral collection! I hope you get a chance to check it out and find something that you love as much as I do.
