Do not mistake the CAPSULE Design Festival as a designer craft fair. CAPSULE is a street festival taking place in the heart of the Hayes Valley showcasing the great talent and originality of over a 130 independent designers; in the categories of men’s, women’s, kid’s, accessories, paper goods, glassware, and unique home décor. On trend and unique artistic items presented have captured the attention fashionistas and the Bay Area’s artistic community alike and made CAPSULE a must attend event for the past seven years. This is due to CAPSULE’s careful selection of participating designers making sure that they reach a great level of quality, originality, cleverness, and method of sustainability in their designs.
CAPSULE’s success has allowed this event to expand to Los Angeles and will be renaming itself to Urban Air Market in Los Angeles. The festival will continue to be held bi-annually in the Los Angeles and San Francisco areas allowing Missing Piece LLC, founders of CAPSULE, to select and even merge the diverse talent pool independent designers from both areas.
