Swimsuit shopping doesn’t seem to be everyone’s favorite. For me at least, it is difficult to find something that suits my taste, budget, fit and style. When I received the swimsuits and cover-up, my first reaction was one of much delight that the products actually looked like they did in the pictures. A big online shopper, I hate that feeling of disappointment when I receive something in the mail that looked nothing like what I thought I ordering. But the same bathing suit and cover-up I saw online was the same exact one I was soon holding in my hands. The second thing that caught my eye was the quality of the material. Each piece had just the right amount of lining and padding needed to make the bathing suit wearable, without fear of a wardrobe malfunction in the water. Just touching the material, you recognize the immense quality found in each stitch of the bathing suit. This isn’t the bathing suit you wear one season, and toss out the next. Personally, I think one of the greatest disappointments that comes from a bathing suit is having it look perfect on a model, and not so perfect on the rest of us. That long lean torso and legs that go on “for miles” isn’t the look that most of us women have, although we would more than likely like to look that way in our bathing suits. I found the ViX bottoms to be forgiving for those of us that may have that extra love around the belly. The bottoms don’t dig into your sides, but rather sit on your hips. Being a bustier woman, I have had difficulty finding bathing suit tops that offer the support that I need. Adding their own twist to the classic bikini, ViX adds thicker straps to the top to help hold everything where it needs to stay. Futhermore, as your size goes up in the top, extra support is added to the area that sits under your bust, to make sure that your top fits you the way that it should. Finally! NOT a fan at all. They only offer 3 one piece bathing suits, way lame! They definately dont have a variety of styles for every TASTE or BODY SHAPE. Two thumbs wayyyy down.
VIX has great tops for those who are top heavy but are looking for a bikini. The material is phenomenal and the coverups are some of the cutest we’ve seen!!! Something that can be worn out to the store too. I ordered the one piece because I love the cut on it. Each designer has an audience they cater to. They may not have a lot of one pieces but they are a great bathing suit company nonetheless
I absolutely love Vix! I get frustrated trying to find something unique with quality and amazing fit, they meat all of those! They definitely cater to the majority of woman compared to other swimwear designers.
