The 67¢ Nail Polish

I am a nail polish addict. I love to buy every nail polish, at every price even though I am pretty stuck on wearing certain colors. Last month I bought 7 colors and used zero of them. I wore what has become my staple orange, and then some black. I cringe at the price of most nail polishes these days, and I want to kick myself when I spend $30 for a bottle of something I may not use.

But last week I was at Walgreens getting my son some medicine when I saw the PERFECT orange! It was light enough to not look Halloween, and different from the other 4 oranges I had picked up over the last few months to catch my attention. So I picked it up, threw it in the cart and headed to the register.

I was totally caught off guard when I saw the that it rung up at 67¢! I don’t remember the last time I paid that little for anything. I went home and gave it a try and totally fell in love with it!

The light orange color almost has a sherbert feel to it. It’s soft, unexpected, and slightly transparent so two coats is required. The 67¢ polish has a decent brush– I actually like it more than some of the pricier versions because it is a little thinner than most brushes so didn’t get on my cuticles. It’s made by–Wet n’ Wild! Yup the ever so popular brand in the 90′s! I hadn’t picked anything up from this line since high school.

And what about its lasting power? It’s been no different than any other polish. Lasts really well for a few days and the it requires a redo. Nothing to scream from the rooftop, and nothing to cry to over either. Just a normal polish in terms of quality but a great color and a killer price.
