Another celeb-turning-designer! Katie Holmes is adding her name to a long list of stars who’ve tried their hand at designing (Kate Bosworth, Kate Moss, the Olsen twins, Victoria Beckham,Dannii Minogue…to name but a few!), but according to WWD this is not a flash in the pan idea for Mrs Cruise. Katie has been working on her fashion label Holmes & Yang since 2009. Her partner in crime? Stylist pal Jeanne Yang. Taking their collection of American classics and paired back silhouettes on tour, we got a glimpse of their Beverly Hills trunk show at Barneys. They also collaborated with European leather goods label Valextra on a luxury handbag line.
