The Runways of NYFW

I decided to post some video’s from some of the Fall 2011 Collections. Isn’t it crazy how we are just getting ready for Spring and the arrival of Summer clothes while the Fashion world celebrates Fall and Winter and will soon be working on the 2012 Summer and Spring Collections!

   I really like Carolina Herrera especially for her more business attire. There were a couple dresses and a coat in that video I thought were great too. Behnaz Sarafpour didn’t intrigue me much. There were a couple pieces that were interesting, but otherwise not for me. Christian Siriano has increible detailing (my Mom loves this guy), especially in that last mauve (?) dress. Really great!

   Carolina Herrera will always be one of my favorites. Such classy and beautiful clothes. Loved her use of unexpected fabrics in some of her dresses. She just rocks.

   I’d have liked to see Behnaz Sarafpour’s collection moving..the clothes just looked a little sad standing there and I wonder if they look better in motion.

   I’m so excited that Christian Siriano is still around and hasn’t slid into post-reality show obscurity like other Project Runway alum
