O Clock on the dot.

oclock

I’m a big fan of a man wearing a watch. Not only does it say this guy has places to go, but it’s basically one of the few accessory options a dude has got. So why not have fun with time?

I just ran into a line of watches I adore, O Clock, they’re made in Italy and super unique in their look and versatility. These watches aren’t for the guy who wants to know exactly how many feet he’s above sea level, since the plastic O Clock face is all of two glow in the dark hands and one logo at 6 o’clock. I found the style reminiscent of the ever so modern Movado brand, but without the price or pretension.

The wristband is very sporty, made out of hypoallergenic silicon, as opposed to the leather, ostrich or alligator you’ll find in a Movado line. Not a band thing, just means you can definitely rough house in this one guys. There are 15 interchangeable colors of bands, including orange, yellow, apple green and plum among others, making the water resistant O Clock perfect for the man in your life who is stylish, yet active. (Psst the watch is also for the ladies, the “Traffic Purple” is amazing in person!)

Because O Clock is so sleek, I think it could be worn with anything from jeans and a plaid button up, to a suit, which would be a charming and hip pairing. I bought my sweetheart this watch in Signal Black at The Usuals boutique in San Jose. It made a special and unique present, starting with the container, an especially cool pop-top tin can that is very fun to open. Sure to please that special someone on February 14th or just about any day of the year!

Last thing, did I mention that it’s reaaally affordable? I plan on buying him more colors, and maybe one or two for myself, online at Fullspot.

As much as this seems fun to wear, I cannot for the life of me, picture my husband wearing it. He is a big guy and this makes me think he’d look more like Francis on Pee Wee Herman’s Big Adventure. I can definitely picture lots of other guys wearing this successfully, just not my man. [TF]

Got something to say? Go for it!
