I love nail polish! I’ve always been totally fascinated by the little bottles of color no matter where I’ve seen them. I love designer, drug store, and peel on nail polish! It’s an easy way to bring a little change, add a little umph, or try colors that we love to try but don’t want to wear as clothes. Besides that it’s a economical way to have a lot of fun.
It’s no secret that right now metallics are huge when it comes to nail color. I decided to share 5 of my favorite metallic nail colors right now. What’s your favorite nail polish and how often do you change colors? (I’ve posted both pics of the color with a flash and with no flash.)
OPI Designer Series “Glamour”
I love this color so much! It’s a really pretty blue with hints of shimmer in tons of colors. Even though this color has shimmer and shine, in my opinion it still manages to maintain a certain “maturity” level. What does that mean exactly? It means you can wear it no matter how old you are and not worry about looking too young.

OPI “DS Radiance”
I pretty much am obsessed with this color. It has a great foil finish and always gets tons of compliments. It’s a beautiful color that looks great against anything I’m wearing, but especially looks great against black-which I wear a lot of.
Savina “Meringue”
This is a great way to embrace the metallic trend without having to worry about chips that show with more pigmented colors. The color is subtle enough that it doesn’t show chips and can go a good few days without needing to be changed.
OPI “Let’s See The Ring”
The name of the color makes you think it’s for the bride, but I think that’s so misleading! Today more and more brides are embracing colored nails and moving away from the traditional. This is a clean, chic color choice for any woman. It looks great against a tan or against fair skin. I love wearing it for a night out and not having to worry about it being too much against jeans, and a t-shirt.
ZOYA “Freja”
This gunmetal color is super HOT! It’s a great alternative to those who don’t want to wear black but like the sophistication of a dark nail bed. It does have a slightly sheer feel. Well with one coat it’s actually pretty sheer and here I’m wearing two coats. A third coat would definitely make it really dark and sexy, but it might peel off too. It’s also a great color choice for the office.
