Hello Kitty: Hello Sephora

Most of us ladies have grown-up with Hello Kitty, and something about her just always had that cute and playful appeal that never got old to me. She is always luring us with her pretty little bow and simplistic face. As a kid I used to buy her makeup, stationary, lunch pails, gum, purses, and I always had to have the Hello Kitty mirror compact. It was plastic, and opened up to reveal a mirror inside. It was perfect for applying my necessary cherry chap stick and powder during recess break at the monkey bars. Now all grown-up with a Sephora beauty line, she’s sophisticated and even more appealing to adults.

Sephora introduces Hello Kitty Beauty. Featuring a gorgeous rhinestone encrusted Hello Kitty face compact mirror, this is just one piece from the collection. it’s reminiscent of the old plastic one I used to carry around in my green Keropi box purse in 7th grade. I would die to own this new one and carry it in my Kate Spade purse. No offense Sanrio character purses, but my purse taste has changed since then.

The line also features a makeup brush set, all with pink bristles, and comes with a metallic silver Hello Kitty shaped makeup brush container, where she holds your brushes and her head covers them up, shielding them from any other kitty cats that may think this is their new toy! Another Hello Kitty Beauty must have is the hand held vanity mirror–how fabulous is that? There are also many other items to choose from (falling under the fifty dollar mark).
