Wow what a night at the Golden Globes! I’m so excited that there were so many amazing looks on the red carpet. I don’t even know where to begin! Green and various tones of gold and nude were the colors of the night for sure. And hints of orange gave us a look at what we can expect to see come Spring this year.
Hair styles definitely had a more ‘mature’ look to them, and the 60′s influence we’ve been seeing in the clothes was evident in the hair styles also. The makeup was subtle, natural and “earthy”. I think this is the best everyone has looked as a group, and I attribute that to popularity of monochromatic styles combined with the comeback of vintage.
So here are my favorite, and not so favorite looks. What did you love, and what did you not love?
I thought Sandra looked sad too…like she was hiding and maybe she was! I also really liked Scarlett’s dress. I saw a lot of blogs and people in the “know” didn’t…but I was a fan. I was torn all night about J-Lo…sometimes I loved it sometimes I hated it and now a month out, I still can’t decide. Loved the Calvin Klein dresses(minus Emma Stones tan) and Anne Hathaway was my best dressed pick…that is how a movie star looks! (TF)
