Street Style: Madison Keeps It Simple

Sometimes, the best things in life are also the simplest. Madison pairs a simple trench with riding boots; perfect for a grey day. What I love about Madison’s coat is that the color is a bit unconventional– I’ve seen many a black trench and far too many khaki trench coats to count, but I’ve never seen a dark grey. More than that, I’ve seen so many basic, black, boring riding boots, but Madison’s have a corset-like lacing detail on the back that I found to be very unique.

What are the most prominent colors in your wardrobe?

Neutrals. White, black, grey, and blue are absolute staples for me (especially in the colder months). In the summer I get a little more colorful, but I’m never parading around in a hot pink bodysuit.

What is your favorite brand?

I live for Inhabit sweaters. They have enough styles that should you have infinite amounts of money to spend, you could literally wear an Inhabit sweater every day of your life. They’re so comfy and they make everyone look amazing!

Are you a coffee person or a tea person?

I’m a tea person, 100%. Coffee makes me nauseous from all the caffeine.

What’s your number one beauty “must have”?

I never leave the house without mascara on. Right now I’m using MAC’s Opulash. The wand is so plush and fabulous, I love it!

What book are you currently reading?

I would lie and tell you that I’ve picked up Jane Eyre from where I left off 100 pages in, but I’ll step into the confession booth and be real: I’m rereading Eclipse (part of the Twilight saga). Tell anyone and face my wrath!

What’s your favorite word?

Aubergine. It means eggplant in French/British English. It sounds so pretty to say and hear!

What’s the last good movie you’ve seen?

I really liked “The Social Network”. I think it’s a good movie for people my age to see because we’re all so addicted to Facebook, so seeing how it began is pretty cool. Also, Zuckerberg’s story is sort of that of a Cinderella-type character, and it gives the rest of us hope that we can hit the jackpot of entrepreneur-ship at 20, too!

What do you think? Tell me in the comments.

xx
