Sometimes when I look at my old prom photos I am almost reminded of Halloween and can’t imagine what I was thinking when I made my choice! For some style comes naturally, and for others like me it is learned and then becomes a part of your life and you as a person.
We buy so many dresses for so many occasions during the course of our life but only a few are sketched into our minds permanently. Prom, wedding, bridesmaid, and other special occasions leave us with a special memory. So I thought it would be fun to have a little contest!
We’ve already gotten a bunch of great photos but I want more! So I want everyone to dig deep and find a photo of yourself in your prom dress and post it on our Facebook page. You’ll get entered into the contest that will launch on Monday, the person with the most votes wins a new look! I promise it’s going to be a lot of fun!
So get ready- get set- go! Post, Post, Post! And IF I’m brave enough I’ll post my Prom photo too!

That’s funny that you said something because I was going to say, Hey-where’s YOUR old prom photo?? =) You should wait till the end of the contest and after you announce a winner, as a fun bonus for everyone, post YOUR prom photo…..just ideas =)
I’ll try to find photo, but I think they’re all in a storage unit in another state. It was a red sequined mini with a sweetheart neckline and spaghetti straps. It was fabulous and quite a departure from my classic style. I’ll never forget the faces of all the boys who DIDN’T ask me to prom. I will definitely be saving it for my girls – at least to play dress up in.

I am still looking for that box I stashed 33 years ago… my prom dress was hand-made by me… it was an awesome color and far too demure (but my dad had the last word)… I worked hard on that thing and the color on me was amazing. Darn it… I will see if I can’t find it tonight, but I am afraid the box of photos is buried too deep to find…
