A Sweatshirt I would wear!

I have always had a love/hate relationship with sweatshirts. I love how comfortable they are, and how they hide all the bumps and the lumps. I love how they wrap around me after a long day and make me feel like I’m 16 again. Sweatshirts have always been my comfort goto piece for as long as I can remember, and I had a really hard time cutting them out. And even when I did cut them out, they found their way back into my closet.

Now you might be wondering what I have against sweatshirts, and what did they ever do to me? For one, I slightly resemble a yellow cartoon character by the name of Spongebob Square Pants in my photos. They also make me a little too comfortable and I eat, lounge, lay around, and “shlumpedink” around more than I should. And let’s face it, there is nothing sexy about them. It could actually be the anti-sexy in some cases (unless you’re wearing your husbands-and nothing more.) But that’s a whole other blog.

Now that you know my opinion of sweatshirts you can only imagine my surprise, joy, and excitement when the Leith Corset Sweatshirt caught my attention on Nordstrom.com. It seems like the perfect marriage of comfort, style, femininity, sex appeal, and quality. I can only imagine that the stitch detailing and it’s placement is going to flatter any woman, and the corset top is nothing short of genius. I can’t wait to get my hands on this item and see how it looks in the real woman, on a real woman.
