About a month ago I was at Neiman Marcus, for Fashion’s Night Out and at the end of the night we were heading out the door when I saw the beautiful display of Tom Ford Lipsticks. $540 in lipsticks never looked so good! My husband, knowing my obsession with Nude lipsticks pointed out the beautiful “Pink Dusk” and I instantly fell for it-until my eye caught the most beautiful red lipstick!
It instantly took me back to the time I was 16 years old. My Aunt had taken me to the Christian Dior counter and told me to pick out whatever color I wanted. I was instantly drawn towards a rich, perfect red, that looked amazing on my skin. I used that tube for the next two years. The color was discontinued not long after I bought it, and I think I scraped every last bit out of the bottom until the color on the tube faded and not a drop was left in it! Through out the past 14 years I have invested in many tubes, pots, wands, and stains looking for that perfect red with no success until now.
Fast forward 14 years and I found the perfect red all over again! I went from wearing nothing but nudes to not being able to part with my Tom Ford Smoke Red Lipstick. It’s also the most moisturizing, long wearing, non-feathering red lipstick I’ve ever used. Besides that I am pretty sure it has some sort of magical powers. It puts a little extra bounce in my step, makes my skin glow a little more, my hair shine more than usual and photographs phenomenally! What’s not to love?
I think this red looks phenomenal on every skin tone, and I’m sure you’ll love it! And if you’re not ready to jump on the Red Train make sure you check out all the other colors in the Tom Ford collection. I personally am a huge fan of the line and although $45 is a bit on the steep side, I’m forever a fan! Dear Mr. Tom Ford a job well done!

Well, geeezzz, you make it sound sooo awesome I might have to try this red out…..looks like fun!
I have many lipsticks and cannot seem to use any of them. All good intentions, but I’m just not the lipstick (or lip color of any fashion) kind. I know I look better when I wear it, but no matter how I try… I always seem to be without lip color! What do you suggest to help me remember??
