TBAF: What’s it like being compared to Madonna, Britney Spears and Kylie Mingoue?

EJ: I love and respect those women, so being compared to them is a total compliment.

TBAF: Were you inspired by any of these ladies when writing your songs? Do they influence your fashion style?

EJ: I write from the heart and if they are a source of inspiration, then so be it.

TBAF: Who is your inspiration when it comes to fashion?

EJ: I am influenced by old Hollywood, 70s glamor, and fierce hookers. HaHa!!

TBAF: What are the five words you would use to describe your style?

EJ: All Woman — All The Time!!!

TBAF: Is your fashion sense similar to your music taste?

EJ: I look for the sex in both music and the fashion.

TBAF: You wear very risque outfits on stage and in music videos, what does Erika Jayne look in everyday attire?

EJ: It depends, some times I look like I just came off stage; other days it’s just sweats and t-shirts!!!

TBAF: What is your go-to outfit or designer?

EJ: Anything tight and black, preferably by McQueen!!!

TBAF: Your dance song “Pretty Mess” topped the charts for Billboard’s US dance. What was the story behind the song?

EJ: “Pretty Mess” is a song about all the roles women play. Sometimes you are a princess, sometimes you’re a doormat.

TBAF: What is your music career aspirations? What inspires you to write your songs?

EJ: I love to create. I draw inspiration from people in my life, places I’ve been and sometimes it’s just pure fantasy!

TBAF: What current trends are you obsessed with right now? And what trends do you wish would go away?

EJ: I’m currently obsessed with my Minx nails, my major hair weave.  I would like to see Uggs abolished from the planet.

TBAF: Are you influenced by the way your fans dress? Do you notice a trend with the way they dress for your shows?

EJ: As long as they have on Erika Jayne T Shirts I’m good.

TBAF: How do you put together a stage/music video outfit?

EJ: I talk with Mikey Minden, my creative director — then we have a meeting with my stylist The Kids (Sammy and Judy) and the magic begins!!!

TBAF: What’s one item in your wardrobe that you cannot part with? Why?

EJ: My custom made show boots; they have super powers.

TBAF: If music was not an option what would be your dream career?

EJ: I would own a professional sports team and scout all the hot athletes!!

TBAF: What can we expect to see and hear from you in the future regarding your music and style?

EJ: More sex, more glitz, and more boys. Oh yeah… and banging songs!!
