Father’s Day is right around the corner, and if you’re like most of the people in my life you’re still looking for the perfect gift. I took a little shopping with my Dad and checked out Westfield Valley Fair to see what we could find. We had a great time, picked up some fantastic deals, and had a cup of coffee together and caught up on life.
During our trip I saw great gift ideas for all kinds of Dad’s. Check out my list below and see what category your Dad falls into! Make sure you check out the special deal that’s only for our readers!
“Tech” Dad: What better gift than an iPad! Sony also has some great camera’s and fun electronics. Tech gifts tend to be on the pricier side because quality and the “newest” technology is always important to a Tech savvy Dad.
“Gleek” Dad: I would recommend the Bose mobile in-ear headset. It’s an absolutely amazing product that any music lover will appreciate, and sure to enjoy for a life time!
“Homebody” Dads: Brookstone is the perfect place for any homebody Dad. You can any find a great selection of massage chairs, personal massagers, pillows, and other “comfort” items. The options are endless, and they have something for every budget.
“Sporty” Dads: I personally really liked Sports Authority and their great selection of workout products, and leisure sports products like golf equipment. My Dad though being more of a “watcher” liked the selection of clothing at Nike. We picked up a couple of fantastic shirts perfect for Summer. I’m sure he’ll be following the World Cup competition in his new shirts!
“Single” Dads: Single parents deserved to be pampered. One of my favorite spots for a special treat for Dad is “The Art of Shaving.” They’ve got great deals right now! Check out the pictures below for more details. “Single Dad” might also be looking for a special lady in his life, so what better gift than a great cologne? Macy’s right now has a fantastic selection, with great deals on gift sets!
“Kid at Heart” Dad: I can’t imagine a better gift for this Dad a giant bean bag from LoveSac. This store has the perfect selection for the Dad that loves his video games, and wants to be comfortable as he takes some time to unwind. It’s also fantastic for wrestling with the kids, and cuddling when they’re in bed and watching a movie on together! I think this is fantastic gift for the Dad that’s a kid at heart.
“Has Everything” Dad: The perfect gift for the has everything Dad is a Gift Card. Boring? Yes a little. But you don’t have to worry about him taking it back. With so many great deals at Valley Fair right now, any amount will go a long way! I’d suggest doing what we did, and going together and having some quality time together!
“Kids under 10” Dad: When you have kids, time flies. I mean faster than you ever imagined! As much as Father’s Day is about celebrating Dad, there is a reason they’re a Dad. We picked up a gift card for the Lego store too. It’s for some quality father and son time between my husband and son. If we had a girl I would have gotten a Build a Bear gift card for them, but we’ve got all boys! Either way the greatest gift you can give to Dad on father’s day is love and memories and I think this would a fabulous way to get both!
