AKSEL – Le Azure

Given that I usually am the one to handle all things “Men’s Fashion” & review on the site, I was pleasantly surprised when I was approached by our PR director about AKSEL Men’s Clothing.

I said yes, and a few weeks later I had in my hand “Le Azure” from AKSEL’s Men’s Shirts line.  And if the rest of the line is as well made, and unique as this shirt, then we all are in store for a truly great product for men everywhere.

When I first looked at the shirt a few things immediately stuck out to me. First and foremost, the double square buttons on the front of the garment.

Far and away this was the most recognized feature by friends and family as well, as I received many compliments on the unique nature of them.

It’s always refreshing to see a designer take risks, and think outside the box, especially in regards to men’s clothing.  However, idea and execution are two separate things; hence why I’m pleased to tell you that AKSEL has pulled it off without a hitch, and made their pieces immediately recognizable from first glance.

That level of execution carries itself over to the rest of the garment as well, as the hems of the shirt present a twist on the standard “slim fit” design.

Furthermore, given that the length of the shirt stops at around the waist, it doesn’t need to be tucked it, and the option is available to wear the shirt both with slacks or denim if you prefer.

As a whole, looking at the great deal of detail, I was very impressed with the piece and look forward to seeing what else AKSEL has in store for the future.

So if you are looking for a great gift for a friend, or family member, make sure you have look at AKSEL. With a price point that meets many budgets as well, you will be glad you took my word for it.
