This past Saturday, Santana Row hosted its 2nd annual Summer Fashion show. The event was filled with the hottest summer trends, great food, after parties, and plenty of shopping! Twenty stores from Santana Row came together under the direction of master fashion show consultant, and producer Beverly Zeiss.
The scenery was almost tropical, with flowing white tapestries and the sun illuminating the walkway. I had always heard the living spaces at Santana Row felt like a getaway, but I never expected it to be so true. Add the great food, drinks, and private shopping area, and the event was absolute perfection!
The show started with feminine looks from Ann Fontaine, featuring a large array of paisley and white. The models looked stunning in looks that could have easily moved right off the runway onto almost anyone watching the show. Women’s wear featured many other designers and stores, my favorite being Boutique Harajuku for clothes and Donald J. Pliner for shoes. Lisa Pliner’s new shoe line definitely had the crowd’s attention the second it hit the runway. Out of all the featured handbags, the one that stuck out was the Furla Topazio. The movement of the bag on the runway was something I would want as a part of my everyday wardrobe!
Halfway through the show, the crowd was surprised and delighted by the appearance of synchronized swimmers. This talented pair hit the water for an amazing performance that was unique and highly entertaining. Just as we thought the show was over, the newest addition to Santana Row took the stage with one stunning look after another. The looks from Priscilla of Boston against the white background, with the wind blowing and the music playing, was absolutely breathtaking! Much to our surprise, the girls didn’t go behind stage, but rather lined up by the pool in one beautiful gown after another. The final shot from the show was definitely in a league of its own!
All in all, the event was a huge success! From the looks that were featured at the show, there are many great choices at every price for your summer wardrobe. If you missed this event, make sure you head out to the next one in Fall!

holy smokes – the turquoise blue dress on the top right is gorgeous! So summery and has a beautiful print! I can’t wait to attend the next fashion show. The fact that it is outdoors is perfect for out Cali weather! good times =. Did I mention that the male models look fab-u-lous??
