So remember how much I missed my black nails, and I was going to switch it up and go with gray at my next manicure? Well all of that went out the window today.
First of all, I blame the desire for the odd and 80′s inspired look on two of my most dearest friends. One has been wearing an awesome acid green around me for weeks now, and the other has comic book inspired nails. Oh no you’re not reading wrong. Her nails actually say “ZAP” on them. Her unique and fashion forward vision always pushes the bounds, and challenges one to think outside of the box! This time though, not only did she push me outside of the box, but she made me throw the box on the floor and dance on it.
I picked up two of my favorite colors from this season in the form of nail polish and headed over to my nail appointment. It was one of the funnest times I’ve had at an appointment! Kim asked me at least 10 times if I knew what I was doing. After I reassured her that I wouldn’t be back in two days for a new look she started to have fun with it too!
So here are the results! It’s totally okay if you hate it, it’s not for everyone! But it’s definitely for me!
