When I got my hands on this bag the first thing I realized was how light it was! I wasn’t used to big bags having almost no weight, and as a chronic purse stuffer this was a huge point for me. The next thing that I was drawn to was the changeable shape of the bag. It can easily be extended on the sides for the days I have my kids with me and need to throw in a couple of toys, and snacks, and just as easily be pulled in on the sides to make it more compact and smaller.
If you want to know about durability, you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how tough this bag is. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and it’s been smashed into cars, rubbed against walls, attacked by sticky three year old hands, taken a trip to the beach, and had a few spills on it. The bag looks as great and as new as the first day I took it out of it’s dust cover.

I already mentioned that I used it with my kids by extending the sides out. On the days that I was alone I pulled the sides in and found it to be the perfect size. Being that oversized big bags are a huge trend right now, I loved that I was totally following the trend without dealing with the weight that most oversized bags come with. I even took it out for the evening. I took a small clutch with me and placed it in the purse and used with my essentials with out the hassle of having to change out bags.
I got a lot of compliments on this one. I think it has a lot to do with the beautiful red interior. It’s a great pop against the neutral colors on the outside of the bag, and it’s also great for hiding little spots that might pop up due to pens, or makeup spilling in the bag. The lining also cleans up rather well. I had a small spill out of my makeup bag and took a wipe to it, and found that it cleaned up really well with out staining or spotting.
The other great thing about this bag is that it’s priced WELL at under a $1,000. Yup you read right, you can add this beautiful Louis Vuitton bag to your collection, or make it your first Louis Vuitton purchase without any guilt. I’m glad I got to review this bag, and can tell you about it because it’s become a definite favorite in my collection.
